WAREHOUSE AUTOMATION

Context and objectives

Context:

One of the European leaders in e-commerce has decided to automate one of his warehouses in order to provide its customers with a 24 hours delivery service for products available in stock and to be able to dispatch 30,000 parcels / day.

Automation will have a profound impact on operating methods, whether on technical, organizational (interaction with other team members) or ergonomic aspects (shift work, sit/stand work).

 

Objectives: 

  • Securing the implementation of the coaching plan defined during a previous project
  • Securing the launch of the automated warehouse under the best conditions

Approach adopted by adameo

  • Development of a change management plan based on 6 axes: sharing the vision, commitment of leaders, mobilization, integration of the company’s values, organization and training
  • A method of operation with variable involvement: from management to implementation depending on the nature of the task
  • Animating workshops and trainings for change management
